the conversation chair was the response to a design competition set by the Love London Eco Design Fair 2009 and the mobile phone recycling company Regenersis to convert a series of abandoned handsets into a new product. skewered into the frame, the mass of old mobiles create a seat - ironic given our lack of face to face communication in modern times. awarded first prize.
